I USE THEY/THEM PRONOUNS.
I work with Queer and trans folks who are ready to unapologetically show up for themselves, find their inner joy, and let that shit shine bright!
I offer a space that is warm, welcoming, and non judgemental. I want to help you connect to your inner strength and dignity, heal past hurts and traumas, move through life from a place of empowerment and courage, and find pride in your most genuine and authentic self.
A client of mine once said:
“To listen a person into another state of being is perhaps the greatest gift we can give”
... and it struck me that it is just as great of gift to be trusted enough to hold that space for others. Whatever your circumstance, I want you to know:
There is space for you here.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my wife and our three kids. I am always looking for a reason to get outside, move my body, and find a new adventure, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love a relaxing Netflix binge with a big bowl of ice cream just as much!
I never know the correct lyrics (but I’ll sing like I do)
I am at my best when I am outside in nature, or on an adventure with the people I love most
I actually like candy corn and tootsie rolls (but my favorite candy is snickers)
I am terrible at math
I drink mushroom coffee every morning
I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on stolen lands belonging to the Puyallup Tribe and other Coast Salish Tribes who continue to live, work, thrive, and steward this land since time immemorial.
If you’ve made it this far after cruising through my website, you’re likely thinking we might be a good fit, and you’re probably right! Still, I think we should chat. Choosing a therapist is a big deal, and I want to make sure you feel really good about your decision.
I offer free 20 minute consultations via video. Let’s say hello, I’ll tell you a bit more about working with me, answer any questions you might have, discuss logistics, and then, if you feel good about it, we can schedule our first appointment.
